100 Hard Things Challenge

I found this really cool website (and books that go with it) called... well, let me just put the link here... http://therebelution.com/ and I would like to encourage you to take the 100 hard things challenge. You can look it up on the website on the banner on the right-hand side that says 10 ways to get involved. Here is my first hard thing: 1. I accepted the 100 Hard Things Challenge! and then 2. Finished my homework.

2013?

Wow. 2013 already? My last post was June 2012? Man, does time fly. Anyways, this is Julia Potter speaking, and I want to give a special announcement. Adventures in Odyssey is giving away a mission trip... to COSTA RICA! Enter today and tell them what you will do to serve your family, your community, and your world! So, basically, I'm going to start a program called Do It Now(D.I.N.). For every dollar I get, I split it halfway. Half for me and my expenses, half for Operation Christmas Child (O.C.C.). So, D.I.N. is basically a orginisation to incorage people (especially kids) to DO things. From building a shed to finishing a triatholon, I'll be with you all the way. Also, I encorage kids to PLAY! Kids, I'm 11! I only have seven years of kiddom! I want you to not be afraid to play because it's not cool or anything. Do it anyways, and DO IT NOW! Before you can't and have a job, and kids, and all that adult stuff. Girls, don't be afraid to take your teddy bears or dolls around. Boys, don't be afraid to play with your toy trucks with Vrrrrrmmmmm! and SCREEECH!-ing noises! DO IT NOW, OR DO IT NEVER!

Sleepover

i am on a sleepover today with my best friend puffball wright; the kitty and another best friend. I am still here and typing in my blog while my best friend and my best friend's brother play tic-tac-toe. this is awesome!

Coloring

Experiment
What You Need:    2 color pencils, preferably yellow and red, colors that will mix; a piece of paper
Ready... Set... Put the piece of paper on your desk or table and...
GO! Use one color pencil and write a message. It could be a picture or words... even a secret code! I just put hi. Anyways, you color over that with the second pencil, like this:

WARNING: Use color pencils, not markers, only. Markers will just cover it up.
